Super Day Ideas

1.  Snowman can - we charged $1.50 for this.  We only had two sisters sign-up (which surprised me because it's so cute and makes a great gift).  I don't have an actual picture, but this website has one that is similar       http://www.jorsm.com/~rutkin/snowman.html

2. Gingerbread wall hanging and paper ornaments - sorry but we had very little response for these too so I don't have a picture.  We got the ideas from one of those cute craft books that you purchase at the craft store.

3.  Canning class - this was great!  We had two of the "canning expert" sisters teach this class, we charged $4.00 and they got to can some peaches and also got to dry pack some flour themselves and take it home.  It was great - we had about 15 sisters sign-up for this.

4.  Families Are Forever sign - we charged $10 for this one (a great deal!). We had about 45 sisters sign-up for this.

5.  Birdhouse Yard Sign - we charged $7 for this one and had about 11 sisters sign up for it.  This one was very simple, just cut out the wood pieces, pick your colors, paint, sand everything down after paint dries, use a stencil to write "welcome", hammer all pieces together with nails, and you're done.  Click Here for picture and instructions.

6. Antiqued Clock - we charged $23 for this one (great deal, $100+ in catalogs), we had over 50 sisters sign-up for this one - WOW!

7. Free projects - embossing (don't know how to do this, we had a sister there that had all the stuff and everyone just embossed on index cards so they could take them home and apply to greeting cards, etc. later) and we also had some humanitarian projects there.

Overall, it was a huge success! We served chicken salad on mini croissants, chips, water and had a sign-up for cookies, brownies and rice krispie treats. This was a crazy but extremely successful day!
