Relief Society Path

Lessons and Spiritual Thoughts
We thank all who have contributed.

"When Joseph Smith turned the keys in behalf of women in Nauvoo... light and knowledge from heaven began to flow down upon women not only in the Church, but everywhere: and the wheels of progress provided women with more opportunities to take the responsibility for their own lives, and thus work out their own salvation and make contributions to the work of society."
Barbra B. Smith  (Ensign, May 1983)

Silent Lesson - Lesson Purpose: To be silent, be still and focus on thoughts and feelings so as to hopefully recognize the Spirit when it witnesses that what is being read, heard, visualized and experienced...is true.

God's Army - Lesson Purpose: To unify Relief Society and Young Women, to express importance of Relief Society programs, Home, Family and Personal Enrichment is program developed to strengthen women and families. Women are enlisted into God's Army, they go through basic training and are given deployment orders (by Bishop) to go out, unify and strengthen families.

Monkey On My Back - Lesson Purpose: To identify the "monkeys" that we carry around that hold us back from living to our full potential.

Finding Balance and Nuturing Self - Lesson Purpose: To help women realize that they are the heart of the family.  If they do not love, balance and nurture themselves, they can not nurture anyone else.  Guest speaker - Dr. Deb.
